Plaut IT Australia has appointed John Coates as advisor to the Office of the CFO, responsible for driving sales and strategy with the CFOs of its customer organisations.
According to Plaut, Coates is an experienced executive leader focused on strategy, cost leadership and customer satisfaction in conjunction with continuous growth and the improvement of shareholder value.
Most recently, Coates was the CFO of Amcor and Sensis and has strong board and audit committee experience as an internal and external advisor. He has proven experience in ‘hands on’ business development and integrating mergers and acquisitions in a number of countries including Asia Pacific, the UK, US, Europe and Australia, with exposure to management and organisation restructure at both the international level.
