SAP has introduced SAP SuccessFactors Visa and Permits Management to help organisations to simplify and streamline the way they source international talent, increasing efficiencies while reducing risks and noncompliance penalties.

The SAP SuccessFactors Visa and Permits Management solution provides a single location from which HR can centrally manage, automate, and gain insight into employee work visa and permit processes, reducing the risks associated with these complex and time-consuming manual processes and improving decision-making.

“It is absolutely critical today for businesses to take a worldwide view of hiring and deploying talent while keeping up with changing regulatory requirements,” said Greg Tomb, president, SAP SuccessFactors.

Noting that compliance violations are a significant issue today, Tomb said that the new solution “will open doors for businesses to bring on the best talent at the right time, no matter where they are deployed.”

SAP SuccessFactors Visa and Permits Management will decrease risks by allowing organisations to define visa and permit processes consistent with individual country and legal requirements.

The application increases compliance by providing fully auditable processes, enabling organisations to define eligibility checks and classification approval criteria as well as to limit the total number of visas and permits if necessary, ensuring that top candidates are hired within many different hiring parameters.

To maximise efficiency, stakeholders all work from central work lists based on country-specific processes for visa and permit issuance, extensions, renewals, and cancellations. The application can manage data for employees, contingent labour, and dependents.

SAP SuccessFactors Visa and Permits Management is the first SAP SuccessFactors solution to be built and delivered on SAP Cloud Platform. It integrates with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, providing HR and business managers with full workforce visibility, management, and insight.

While the initial release provides predefined localisation for Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, additional localisations are planned for upcoming releases.
