Fujitsu reveals SAP HANA successes and announcements

Fujitsu has made its 300th customer installation of SAP HANA, introduced HANA onto the Fujitsu Global Cloud Platform, and announced the general availability of its FlexFrame ecosystem for running the SAP ERP application on HANA.

Global customer demand for HANA installations and managements has driven Fujitsu to introduce a new cloud-based offering, which sees SAP HANA running on the Fujitsu Global Cloud Platform.

The company also announced the FlexFrame Orchestrator for SAP solutions, which delivers consolidated support for systems running SAP ERP and SAP HANA landscapes on a single platform.

“Since FlexFrame was first introduced almost 10 years ago, Fujitsu has completed hundreds of deployments, and has built up an unrivalled amount of expertise in creating efficiencies in managing SAP solution environments,” said a Fujitsu representative.

“Fujitsu FlexFrame Orchestrator sets a new high water mark for the full-virtualisation and management of complete SAP-based systems, including the unique ability to manage deployments of SAP ERP and SAP HANA under one roof.”

These announcements were made at the Fujistu Forum, held on 6-7 November in Munich.
