Power conditioning supplier Consul Consolidated Pvt Ltd will be the first company in India to implement SAP HANA.
The Chennai-based company, which manufactures products recommended by OEMs such as Wipro, GE, Philips Medical Systems and Siemens Ltd, chose NTT Communications Group company, Netmagic Solutions, to host the HANA installation, and KPIT Cummins as its implementation partner.
The company has two manufacturing facilities, located in Chennai and Pune, as well as seven regional offices and 75 branch offices across India.
Vijayakrishna KS, AGM – IT, Consul Consolidated, said the implementation of HANA is strategically aligned with the company’s overall vision and growth plans.
“The implementation will enable us to run our businesses in real time by unifying business transactions and operational analytics on to a single, open in-memory computing platform. This will strengthen and integrate our core business function, enabling us to support our expanding business operations, integrate our core business functions and provide better business insights.”
For the implementation, Consul Consolidated required a service provider which could provide mission critical uptime and work close with KPIT Cummins on the implementation.
The company chose Netmagic because of its track record working with IT infrastructure, deep knowledge of the SAP environment and round-the-clock infrastructure management services.
