SAP has announced updates to its SAP Travel OnDemand solution, including broader country coverage and an Android app version.
The cloud-based solution was first released globally in March 2012, with country-specific versions, including Australia, released in July 2012.
It is designed to give financial officers and business travellers greater control over the way they manage travel and expenses.
With the new updates, SAP has included 16 country-specific versions, including New Zealand.
Using customised analytics, the solution now takes into account the roles of various users in the company, including business travellers, managers, auditors and CFOs.
An Android mobile version of the solution has been released, to allow for greater choice by employees.
Lastly, the solution has been integrated with the SAP ERP application and SAP Financials OnDemand solution in a bid to accelerate the reimbursement process.
