StoneBridge Systems has appointed Jim Impey as Southern Region Sales Manager in Melbourne.
Impey will be responsible for new business development, as well as managing customer relationships from pre-sales through to implementation and ongoing service support.
Impey joins StoneBridge with more than 30 years’ experience in the IT industry within sales, brand management and technical support roles. Before joining StoneBridge, Impey worked at IBM, Sterling Commerce, Dataplex, Hardie Networks, GEC Alsthom, Star Micronics and Epson Australia.
During his 18-year stint at Sterling Commerce as a senior sales executive, Impey helped to establish the company’s presence in Victoria, signing new customer contracts in the financial services, retail, manufacturing and government sectors.
“We’re pleased to have a regional sales manager on board with Jim’s skills and experience. With the recent growth in projects for existing and new clients, it was critical that we engaged the right person to ensure our service delivery is exemplary and continues to develop alongside our clients’ needs,” said Peter Murphy, director, StoneBridge Systems, on the new appointment.
StoneBridge has also promoted Sankar Melethat to the role of practice manager, web experience manager, to provide customers with expertise in web content management, enterprise portals and collaboration.
Melethat will be responsible for driving the growth of this practice along with managing staff and training responsibilities.
“We are also delighted to expand Sankar’s role in the fast expanding web and digital content management side of our business,” Murphy said.
