SAP’s BI Global Support Manager, Mike Griffiths, has warned SAP BusinessObjects customers of an issue that they may soon encounter.
The email stated, “Beginning September 8, 2013, a Java Runtime certificate will expire and may cause a warning message to appear on end user screens prior to them being able to run their SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence software reports. In most cases, customers will be able to click through this warning and the reports will run as usual. In some cases, if the user has recently updated Java within their browser they will not be able to proceed to the Web Intelligence report.”
To address this issue, you will need to apply a patch to your server deployment. Go to SAP Service Marketplace to download and install the patch: http://service.sap.com/java-webi-certificate
