SAP has released an add-on for the SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) application designed to make its user interface more user-friendly.
The add-on, which will be demoed at SAPPHIRE NOW + SAP TechEd in Madrid, gives the SAP SRM application the familiar look and feel of an online shopping web page to allow casual procurement users to create purchase requests from catalogues with little or no training.
Features that have been added include type-ahead search terms, browse by category, filtering, detailed product information and ratings enables users to search across internal and external catalogues to quickly find the products and services they need to order.
Companies can customise the user interface to their specific branding and procurement processes.
The interface is a non-modifying add-on that can be implemented on top of an existing landscape for the 7.0 version of SAP SRM.
