The weather is starting to warm up which means Spring is on its way – and it’s time to start thinking about supporting a great charity with a fun day on the harbour.
Now in its fourth year, the SAP Ecosystem Regatta for Redkite 2014 will be held on Friday 7 November.
Last year’s event raised over $40,000 for Redkite, the cancer charity which provides essential support for children and young people and their families.
This year, Cisco is supporting the Regatta as Premier Sponsor, while UXC Oxygen Business Solutions, NTT DATA Business Solutions and Everjoy Consulting are Supporting Sponsors.
The Regatta for Redkite is run from Middle Harbour Yacht Club, Mosman, and money is raised via boat entry fee donation to Redkite, as well as through raffles and auctions at the post-race function.
No sailing experience is required to participate in the Regatta – entry is via a $3000 (tax-deductible) donation to Redkite, plus an $80 fee per crew member. Yacht hire is not included in the entry fee, but the SAP Ecosystem Foundation can provide assistance with sourcing a yacht if needed.
