Melbourne will play host to the SAUG 34th Melbourne Plenary next week.
One of Melbourne’s premier SAP events, the Plenary is expected to draw over 200 over the 2 days.
The event is a chance for IT team managers, SAP project leaders, IT teams and individuals to meet, and improve their SAP knowledge.
A highlight of this year’s event will be an interview with SAP ANZ CEO Tim Ebbeck, conducted by former Australian Cricket captain, and SAP Corporate Ambassador, Mark Taylor AO.
Mark will be interviewing Tim on the state-of-play within SAP, top-of-mind issues among Australian business leaders, and leadership.
SAP ANZ Communications Director Peter Sertori said Mark has been working with SAP now for over a year, and his brand and values are closely aligned with those of SAP.
The event will also play host to the SAUG Annual General Meeting, which will see the election of a new committee.
Keynote speakers at this year’s Melbourne event include Ian Harvison from Komatsu, Matt English and IBM partner from IBM Global Business Services.
Neil Wheeler, Executive Manager Information & Communications from Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board will also make a key note address at the conference.
Neil will be joined by Michael Foreshew, Executive Manager – Technology Services from the Country Fire Authority to discuss the use of SAP in Victorian Emergency Services.
The Plenary will include several other focus sessions with representatives from well known Australian companies, like Coles, Bluescope Steel and Lion Nathan.
Attendees will also be able to sit in networking sessions where SAP customer can discuss pain points with their SAP system, and receive feedback from the SAUG and their peers.
