SuccessFactors has been ranked as a ‘Leader’ in Forrester Research’s 2013 Talent Management Q1 report for its performance and goals, succession and development, and learning solutions.
The company was ranked against nine of the top talent management vendors across 57 criteria – ranging from competency, goals, performance, succession and learning management and collaboration capabilities to strategy and market presence.
Forrester named vendors whose talent management suites met global market needs as ‘Leaders’, with SuccessFactors specifically recognised for its “competency management with integrated and third-party libraries, performance review with continuous peer feedback capabilities from multiple applications, and an intuitive user interface with personalisation capabilities”.
Lars Dalgaard, found and CEO of SuccessFactors and member of the Executive Board of SAP AG, said, “I believe that this report not only validates our ‘best of breed’ talent management solutions and our fully-integrated BizX suite, but it also shows that success in business today is the ability to get all your talent running in the right direction at the right speed.”
SuccessFactors’ talent management suite is part of a broader HCM platform that also includes a modern, global core HR system.
“Customers will continue to look for end-to-end HCM in the cloud,” said Shawn Price, president, people and money, SAP Cloud. “But whatever the starting point, we recognise that the journey isn’t a ‘one-size fits all’ or ‘rip and replace’ kind of transition. Every path is unique. Whether the priority is to achieve operational efficiency, drive workforce engagement, or simply get better visibility, our philosophy is to work with our customers to identify the right solutions at the right time, and implement them based on their business priorities.”
