SAP is extending its collaboration with global professional services firm, Accenture, to accelerate S/4HANA development and to speed and simplify the overall digital transformation process for business clients.

The collaboration will include co-development activities, co-investment in resources, appointment of dedicated executives and an innovative go-to-market approach built on joint value-proposition capabilities and collaborative delivery. The result will be differentiated solutions with flexible delivery options for bundled industry cloud deployment.

“This strategic agreement to further advance our collaboration and integration builds on the success of the existing Accenture and SAP Business Solutions Group,” said Paul Daugherty, chief technology officer, Accenture.

“Accenture developers and industry experts are now working side by side with SAP, providing us with unique input, insight and development opportunities with SAP S/4HANA.”

Key outcomes of the collaboration are expected to be:

  • Improved solutions, by combining the extensive industry expertise and product knowledge of both SAP and Accenture
  • Reduced time to market, by leveraging Accenture’s expertise in core and industry cloud solutions development for S/4HANA
  • New S/4HANA Finance applications with improved and simplified user experience and increased productivity by building on the SAP Fiori user experience
  • Accelerated adoption of S/4HANA and reducing time to value by aligning and scaling joint go-to-market efforts.

”Our enhanced agreement with Accenture signifies another key step to further strengthen our commitment to SAP S/4HANA,” said Bernd Leukert, member of the executive board, products & innovation, SAP.
