Avantis Information Systems has been appointed by SAP ANZ to the Extended Business Program (EBP) as a Master Value Added Reseller (Master VAR).
The move is part of the company’s drive to expand the program to include the SAP BusinessObjects portfolio.
The program will be led by Avantis, also an SAP and Gold channel partner, who have worked with the BusinessObjects portfolio for over nine years.
Under the program, Avantis will support Extended Business Members, who in turn will provide product licensing information and assistance to their customers.
Master VAR’s benefit from license and sales opportunities they may not have otherwise had, and Extended Business Members gain insight and experience from senior partners in the ecosystem.
Extended Business Members (EBMs) can include hardware vendors, business consulting firms, integrators, resellers and independent software vendors.
Colin Pearshouse, General Manager of Avantis, said they are looking to partner with organisations that do not have the ability to sell all of the SAP BusinessObjects tools but are in a position to identify potential licence opportunities.
“The EBP will realise the benefit of such relationships and enable a broader range of players to offer the full portfolio of SAP BusinessObjects software to their customers,” he said.
