SAP Cloud Platform Integration announces a live online conversational series, focusing on integration best practices and challenges to help partners be a subject matter expert in SAP’s Integration technology. The Integration Black Belts program will be hosted by key integration experts (referred to as ‘Integration Black Belts’) and streamed live every month beginning July 2020.
The Integration Suite Black Belt enablement series for SAP partners was launched last April. Aimed at helping partner pre-sales and consultants learn how the Integration Suite delivers true end-to-end business value, the program’s first episode will go live this month and will be led by the following thought leaders:
- Dr. Harsh Jegadeesan, Vice President and Head of Product Management and Strategy for Integration at SAP –
- Chris Aron, global Go-To-Market lead for SAP Cloud Platform Integration
- Colleen Speer, Senior Vice President and Head of SAP Cloud Platform business in North America
To get notified of the live streaming videos from the program, SAP partners are encouraged to follow SAP Technology on LinkedIn, where announcements and updated go-live schedules will be posted. In each episode, the so-called ‘Integration Black Belts’ will discuss their real-world experiences in the journey to transforming businesses into intelligent enterprises.
SAP Cloud Platform Integration—the Heart of an Intelligent Enterprise
According to Content & Positioning Lead for SAP Cloud Platform GTM, Amy Cross, holistic integration of both technology and business processes delivers significant value to customers, accelerates the speed of innovation, lowers the risk of integration, and reduces the complexity of operations.
Dr. Jegadeesan further explains why partners should grab the opportunity to become an ‘integration black belt,’
“Intelligent enterprises are ‘integrated enterprises’—integration and API’s are the bedrock for end-to-end value chain scenarios like Lead-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay and Design-to-Operate. Integration plays a pivotal role in customers’ digital transformation journey. As trusted advisors to our customers, partners should strengthen and condition their integration muscles.”
The content of the courses in the Integrations Black Belts program is the same one offered by SAP to its internal account managers and pre-sales resources—including case studies, online demonstrations, architectural overviews, market trends, industry reports, competitive battle cards, and presentations. The team at SAP—led by Product Manager Tushar Pradhan—made multiple iterations to ensure that these resources met the specific requirements and needs of partners and the lessons progressed appropriately.
Participants get the opportunity to be a certified expert in SAP Cloud Platform integration and earn their ‘Integrations Black Belt’ badge. In martial arts, black belts are often a coveted symbol and symbolizes hard work, self-discipline, and perseverance—as a certified ‘Integrations Black Belt,’ SAP partners can set themselves apart from the competition and learn how to overcome complex customer challenges.
The online conversational series’ learning objectives include:
- How to use SAP assets to simplify and remove risks from projects
- Details on SAP API Management, B2B/B2G support, data integration, event-based, IoT support, and process integration
- How to access ongoing best-practices to simplify integration with ML, via pre-packaged business content and Content Advisor
According to SAP, more updates will be rolled out throughout the year to additional partner and customer categories via the SAP Community page.
