Seeking to specifically optimise customer workloads running on SAP software, CenturyLink has launched a new fully managed solution to provide customers with enhanced automation for infrastructure management, SAP software deployment and configuration.
The new solution, which will be available mid-year, was launched at last week’s SAPPHIRE NOW event.
CenturyLink has worked closely with Cisco and SAP to build the offering on the FlexPod technology developed by NetApp and Cisco. The offering will include SAP-certified, enterprise-scale private cloud and application development, as well as ongoing management of applications, infrastructure, network and security for SAP HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA, and the SAP Customer Relationship Management and SAP ERP applications.
The solution will provide policy-driven automation for the management, auditability and compliance of SAP business applications and SAP HANA environments, enabling accelerated deployment of SAP systems, flexible options such as bare metal or virtualised configuration, and a single point of contact delivering support.
