COSOL has established a permanent office in Mongolia to support recent growth in the country.
The company has spent the last two years creating business processes and systems for the operation of the Oyu Tolgoi copper-gold mine in Mongolia.
This “successful experience”, along with the anticipated growth in mining and minerals processing in the region, led to the decision by COSOL’s Board to expand their international operations and establish a permanent presence in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Trent Jackson has been appointed as Country Manager for COSOL Mongolia LLC.
“We see great value to our clients by being located close to their operations. Having a partner who has on the ground operating experience in this region is of great benefit to clients commencing operation in Mongolia,” said Brad Skeggs, COSOL chairman and executive director.
COSOL will provide business and systems services to both private and government operated mines and processing plants in Mongolia, Mining Contractors and Service providers and projects establishing infrastructure (including the integrated rail network).
