The Delphix Agile Data Platform, which uses patented data virtualisation technology, has become an SAP-endorsed business solution on a worldwide basis.
The Delphix platform provides customers with the ability to accelerate implementations of new SAP applications, upgrade existing application landscapes, and deliver code changes and fixes, with additional value more quickly realised than when using physical database infrastructure alone.
According to Irfan Khan, SAP senior vice president, database and technology, the Delphix Agile Data Platform complements SAP NetWeaver Landscape Virtualization Management software, to provide accelerated implementations for SAP software at a reduced TCO.
“With the synergies between these solutions, customers can benefit from the additional efficiencies in managing data throughout the complete SAP application lifecycle,” Khan said.
Companies including P&G, Petsmart and KLA Tencor are already using the Delphix platform to enhance their SAP environments.
