For the first time, the Mastering SAP Technologies conference, held in Sydney on 21-23 March, featured a DemoJam event, with technical experts from Australia and overseas given the opportunities to demonstrate their new technologies, applications and approaches.
The finalists at the event and their projects were:
- Thomas Jung (SAP USA) and Ed Herrmann (Colgate Palmolive USA): Free BIER (Background Invoked Enterprise Resources)
- Nigel James (Keytree): iApprove
- Martin English (English Basis): Sexy Solution Manager
- Matt Harding (independent) and Alisdair Templeton (Acclimation): The Semantic SAP
- Neil Gardiner (Extend Technologies) and Chris Paine (Presence of IT): MADSHIT (Mobile Advanced Detail Sensing Helicopter Integration Toolkit)
Despite a tumultuous lead-up to the event with some technical difficulties in the week prior, Neil Gardiner and Chris Paine took out the DemoJam with their barcode-scanning helicopter which communicated with SAP.
