Accenture, IBM, Tata Consultancy Services and Capgemini were named in the Leaders category in Gartner’s most recent ‘Magic Quadrant for SAP Application Management Service Providers, Worldwide’ report.
The report evaluated 16 providers’ capabilities to supply SAP application management services, which it defines as project-based implementations of SAP applications without ongoing management responsibilities. The assessment takes into consideration the capabilities of providers across 22 industries and all geographic regions, and looks at both ability to execute and completeness of vision.
Deloitte was the only provider included in the ‘Visionaries’, while Infosys, HCL Technologies, HP, CSC, Atos and Wipro were named ‘Challengers’.
On the result, Accenture global managing director of SAP business, Christophe Mouille, said, “We believe Accenture’s positioning as a Leader is a clear demonstration of our consistent leadership in SAP application management services and capabilities to create functional and industry application management solutions that help our clients innovate and achieve tangible business outcomes.
“With our ongoing investments in areas such as SAP HANA, cloud and mobility, we continue to differentiate Accenture through industrialisation, intelligence and industry solutions,” said Mouille.
On Capgemini again being named a leader, Jerry Lacasia, global SAP partner executive, said, “We believe this is testament to our integrated delivery framework and our investment in next-generation application management platforms including our SAP Industrialised Managed Service Center, which provides real-time and on-demand insights on the state of service. Our main areas of focus are on aligning business processes with applications to help drive business outcomes and value, as well as providing continuous improvement and innovation to our clients year after year, both resulting in high customer satisfaction.”
