SAP ANZ has announced the start of a new Business One implementation at golf ball manufacturer Srixon Sport Australasia Pty Ltd.
Srixon, which is owned by SRI Sport Limited, had been using an old and outdated legacy system from the 1980s. SAP Business One partner Key Business Solutions was brought in to advise the company on a business process review and suggested SAP’s Business One application be used to integrate core business functions, including financials, sales, customer relationship management, inventory, and operations.
Key Business Solutions will now manage the implementation, with the aim of going live by September this year.
Objectives for the implementation include making monthly reporting mandates more automated and streamlined, providing employees, customers and partners with easy access to information and improving the company’s bottom line. If the implementation is successful, Srixon will be looking to roll out Business One throughout other subsidiary companies.
“We were in much need of an IT upgrade and Key Business Solutions supported us through our business process review giving us sound advice on what our requirements as a small business will be during the period of expansion we are going through,” said Martin Wright, managing director, Srixon Australia New Zealand. “SAP is the right choice for us, especially given our interest in potentially going global with the system in the future.”
