UXC subsidiary UXC Oxygen has been chosen by state government-owner electricity provider Hydro Tasmania to implement and maintain a new SAP ERP platform.
The new system is part of a wider IT-transformation strategy that will allow the utilities company to mondernise its software infrastructure and remain competitive in the market.
The project was placed on offer in August last year, with Hydro Tasmania settling on UXC Oxygen due to its expertise in the SAP space and experience in the SAP market.
UXC Oxygen predicts the project will exceed $25 million for the implementation and ongoing support.
In August 2012, UXC Oxygen acquired SAP consultancy firm Stream as a way to expand its SAP offering and market presence.
