IBM’s SAP Practice Lead takes on new role

By Nathan Dukes

IBM last week announced Nigel Silver, SAP leader for IBM in ANZ, had taken on a new role as leader of an expanded ANZ Package AMS Organisation from 15 January 2010.

The new organisation will support a range of applications, including SAP, and will be responsible for setting up an expanded team and driving growth in the ANZ marketplace.

Nigel has led IBM’s SAP Practice for the last three years, and has been credited for the company’s substantial growth in SAP market share in ANZ.

Replacing Nigel as ANZ SAP Leader is Paul Rogers.

IBM said Paul is an experienced IBM partner with a long track record in delivering and selling IBM’s SAP services across a number of industries, and is well known within IBM as one of its most capable and experienced SAP professionals.

Paul will spearhead the continued expansion of IBM’s SAP Practice around new service offerings and products for SAP across the ANZ market.
