Everjoy Consulting has launched an industry-first Contractor Retention Program (CRP), which will help to secure contractors in key project positions and ultimately reduce the risks associated with losing key resources as projects go live.
Created in response to the shortage in the ICT contractor market, Everjoy director Adrian Everett said, “Across the industry we have noticed an increasing number of ICT contractors who are changing contracts prior to their cessation, often in pursuit of higher rates. We wanted to proactively reduce the risk of our customers being affected and CRP will help to resolve this rising occurrence.”
According to Everjoy, the CRP is best utilised for pivotal roles in projects and enhances Everjoy’s partnership with its customers to focus on their delivery success.
“We are not simply about putting people in jobs, Everjoy has a vested interest in ensuring our customers succeed in their projects and have the best possible emotional and financial returns from working with Everjoy,” Everett said.
While the CRP is only one step to resolve this growing trend in the marketplace, Everjoy suggests that the rest of the recruitment industry follow suit in actively encouraging ICT contractors to complete their engagements and ensuring that the industry as a whole is seen to work to the benefit of its customers and their delivery objectives.
