Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health has selected SAP SuccessFactors solutions to help improve employee experiences and therefore patient experiences.
The health sciences university and innovative health system chose the SAP SuccessFactors Talent solutions to provide a best-in-class human resources experience to 30,000 employees and to better connect the entire workforce using collaboration and learning tools.
In need of integrated, next-generation solutions to unify disparate HR tools and processes, the university selected SAP SuccessFactors Learning, SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals and SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development solutions over competing cloud solutions. The university also opted for SAP Jam collaboration platform to improve communication, collaboration and informal learning.
As a leading healthcare organisation and centre for higher education, Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health has an obligation to provide world-class learning and development opportunities that motivate their employees to engage in lifelong learning and progress in their careers, resulting in the highest quality of patient care.
“After an extensive evaluation, it was a clear choice to go with SAP SuccessFactors solutions to provide the best support and development opportunities for our staff, which will help unlock their true potential and ensure the highest standard of care for our patients,” said Jeffrey Stevens, chief human resources officer, Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health.
“The patient experience is central to any organisation in the healthcare industry, with the level of care provided being completely dependent on employees,” said Robert Enslin, member, executive board, SAP and president, cloud business group, SAP.
Enslin said that the SAP SuccessFactors solutions will enable the university to help maximise each employee’s potential, ensuring they continue to provide the best possible patient care.
