To meet the needs of time-starved IT professionals increasingly seeking self-paced online courses to increase their skills and advancement opportunities, openSAP is introducing three new free courses, offering education on SAP Fiori app building, SAP SuccessFactors implementation, and general business and sustainability topics.

The three new courses are:

  • Build Your Own SAP Fiori App in the Cloud: The 2016 version of this course helps you build your own SAP Fiori apps and learn how to apply them in your own specific business. This includes new content focused on the latest user experience (UX) topics including SAP Fiori UX 2.0, SAP S/4HANA, the SAP Splash studio and the Build tool.
  • Implementation Made Simple for SAP SuccessFactors Solutions: This course provides an education on SAP Rapid Deployment solutions, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors solutions. Learn how to access and apply best practices for HR, payroll, talent and the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solution.
  • Sustainability Through Digital Transformation: Beginning in April, this course will delve deeper into topics in the current podcast series, which is based on the popular 2014 course and includes topics such as the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris and the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

SAP has now had more than 1 million enrolments from students in more than 180 countries on the openSAP platform in the three years since it launched. OpenSAP courses are offered in partnership with the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) based in Potsdam, Germany, based on the openHPI concept.

“Our courses are relevant to professionals’ careers and day to day tasks. Whether you are an SAP software user, employee, or just interested in digital technology, these courses are highly impactful,” said Professor Hasso Plattner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SAP SE.
