SAP consultancy Martarna will support collaborative software solutions such as Streamwork from SAP and Social Business Software from Jive in a bid to expand.
According to a recent study by the UK-based Hotspots Research Institute on the Future of Work, which drew on the insights of 40 leading companies around the world, collaboration in complex environments has emerged as one of the major challenges of the future.
This is major shift in the way business is managed and presents a proven methodology for organisations to improve their bottom line results, according to Martarna general manager, Mark Foley.
“We have seen what can be achieved from many of the top global organisations, such as VMware, Citrix, Cisco, Intel, Nike and News Corporations, which have developed and built collaborative workplaces,” Foley said.
Many companies lack the necessary competency to fully embrace collaboration, according to Foley, and are therefore at risk of not being ‘future-proofed’.
“It takes time and a clear game plan is required but the rewards are outstanding.”
