On the Move: Capgemini appoints new ANZ COO

Consulting, technology and outsourcing giant Capgemini has announced the appointment of Olaf Pietschner as an executive vice president in the new role of chief operating officer for Australia and New Zealand.

Most recently, Pietschner held executive positions as chief information officer at Origin Energy and as IT director at News Corporation. The move, however, marks a return to Capgemini for Pietschner who was principal at Capgemini Central Europe from 2002 to 2004.

With a career spanning more than 25 years, Pietschner brings extensive experience in consulting and digital transformation from organisations worldwide. He has a track record of delivering both quantitative and qualitative operational efficiencies while at the same time being able to help bring about the change in culture required to effect a compelling digital vision for organisations across multiple industries
