SAP customers can now take advantage of a complete HANA readiness analysis and consultation package for just $1000 through a partnership between Gekkobrain, the creator of the cloud-based ABAP code analysis tool, Hanalyzer, and ConCorn, a consulting firm specialising in SAP solutions and application lifecycle management (ALM) based in the US.
Taking just a few days, the package includes a readiness report detailing exactly what ABAP code needs to be fixed, and identifying the length of time it will take before the organisation is ready to upgrade to SAP HANA.
Advising that any company planning to upgrade to SAP HANA within the next year or so should be starting now, Valton Berisha, senior ALM consultant, ConCorn said, “Most SAP users are surprised to learn how much code they actually need to fix, before they can upgrade. And that’s only half the problem. The next big headache is actually managing the thousands of minor fixes afterwards.”
The package includes: Hanalyzer Cloud for three months; installation of ZHanalyzer extractor in the SAP system; filtering for runtime or UPL usage; Hanalyzer Analysis; identification issues per priority and object; identification of the number of days required to fix the issues; and online consultation including a discussion of the results and proposal of next steps.
“We’re ABAP’ers by heart ourselves, so we understand the process and have felt the pressure ourselves. This is why we developed Hanalyzer, so we could more easily fix the custom code in the projects we were involved with,” said Joe Strand from Gekkobrain. “And teaming up with Concorn adds immense value to the offering, since their deep understanding of SAP Solution Manager and ALM takes Hanalyzer to new levels.”
The Hanalyzer tool was launched by Gekkobrain in February.
