The new intake of SAP Mentors for Spring 2012 have been announced, with two Australians featuring on the list.

Joshua Fletcher and Sascha Wenninger have both been named SAP Mentors for the first time.

Joshua Fletcher’s experience in SAP and his strong community spirit make him an ideal SAP Mentor. Currently employed as the national SAP BI practice manager for ASG Group, this role sees him manage technology solutions including SAP BusinessObjects, Business Warehouse, HANA, Sybase IQ and Sybase Mobility. Fletcher has over 10 years’ experience in BI applications and is fully certified in SAP BusinessObjects, as a Certified Professional in EnterpriseXI3.x, Data Integrator XI 3.x, Web Intelligence XI3.x and Crystal Reports 2008. Fletcher is currently organising a second Australian Inside Track 2012 to be run in conjunction with Mastering SAP BI, which is being held in Melbourne in August.

Sascha Wenninger was employed as senior technical specialist at Australia Post prior to moving to his current position as SAP integration architect. Not only has Wenninger been announced as SAP Mentor, he was also recently crowned SCN Member of the Month. He specialises in SAP-centric integration architecture, design and implementation, with a focus on SAP PI, SOA and REST.

“I am passionate about solving problems in the SAP domain by pragmatically applying techniques and technologies from other areas of computing,” said Wenninger. “Curiosity and a drive to continuously learn help me to push the boundaries of what is possible with SAP software.”

The inclusion of Wenninger and Fletcher brings the total number of Australian SAP Mentors to ten. They join fellow Australians Martin English, Matt Harding, Paul Hawking, Nigel James, John Moy, Graham Robinson, Alisdair Templeton and Tony de Thomasis as SAP Mentors.
