SAP and SuccessFactors partner NTT DATA Business Solutions has developed an industry-specific solution for the healthcare sector, through a strategic partnership with health services consulting specialist Australian Health Services Group (AHSG).
The Talent Management for Healthcare solution is designed to improve quality of care and operational effectiveness, as well as drive financial performance for healthcare operators throughout Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
Mark Wade, national HCM practice lead, NTT DATA Business Solutions said the company’s strategic partnership with AHSG will deliver substantial benefits to customers.
“The healthcare sector has a critical dependence on meeting externally mandated standards for the quality of care. This in turn places immense importance on having adequate talent management processes in place to enable staff to meet those standards,” Wade said.
He added that AHSG brings extensive clinical and line management expertise to the partnership.
“They provided insights to the responsibilities and challenges of the various departments, from the ward to the financial controller, and how each can benefit from a talent management approach designed to fit those unique challenges – from ensuring the optimal mix of clinical staff on ward on a night shift to being able to demonstrate compliance on an audit to an insurance company to protect and grow revenue,” Wade said.
NTT has then combined these insights with its own expertise in implementing SuccessFactors. The solution has healthcare content pre-loaded, which Wade said will enable faster adoption and engagement by employees within healthcare organisations, providing benefits for quality, safety and risk management.
The partnership will see AHSG provide consulting support for customers, while NTT will deliver the technical aspects of the solution deployment.
“We see this as an element of the partnership that will grow in importance as we deliver the solution throughout South East Asia countries, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, where the healthcare industry continues to expand and evolve as those economies scale”, said Wade.
