SAP ANZ has announced that Greg Miller will move on from the company at the end of the month, to pursue “more expansive leadership opportunities”.
Miller was appointed chief operating officer of SAP ANZ in September 2012, and also became general manager and VP for global partner operations (GPO) in May 2014.
“Greg has led the establishment of a GPO team poised to help our partners scale with SAP in 2016, overseeing the most successful GPO year in recent history, and established a General Business team now ready to scale in 2016 for the increasingly important SME market,” a statement by SAP said.
Until a successor is appointed, Miller will hand over his responsibilities to SAP ANZ COO Jim Fisher on an interim basis.
During his time at SAP, Miller has also been the public face of the company’s CSR and Young ICT Explorers programs.
“Above and beyond his leadership of our GPO team, Greg has inspired many at SAP and many more in our ecosystem to tackle some of the greatest socioeconomic challenges we face in Australia, including youth unemployment and the digital skills gap. Through his executive sponsorship of our CSR program and SAP’s Young ICT Explorers program, he has brought many from across the industry, education, government and not-for-profit sectors together to elevate and advance these causes at the highest levels,” the statement said.
Perry Manross, head of corporate affairs for SAP in ANZ, will manage these programs until a new program sponsor has been appointed.
Prior to joining SAP, Miller spent six years as VP, portfolio and sales operations, Asia Pacific for Unisys, and previously held senior sales operations roles for Peoplesoft and Siebel.
