Enterprise information management (EIM) provider, OpenText, has launched the latest version of its Employee File Management (EFM) software to use with SAP solutions.
EFM 4.0 integrates with solutions from SuccessFactors via a new cloud connector interface feature, which helps solve growing compliance challenges associated with on-premise/hybrid environments, according to OpenText.
The additional functionality is aimed at helping Human Resources (HR) departments to drive efficiency, reduce cost, meet compliance requirements, go digital and securely operate at new levels of speed and efficiency.
OpenText EFM 4.0 also now includes a mobile app that provides an easy-to-use interface and gives users fast access to the functionality of the OpenText EFM solution.
Available on both iPad and Android devices, the app helps users securely connect to necessary resources and information in the field at anytime, according to OpenText.
“Many of our customers recognise the benefits of making their HR processes completely digital but struggle to manage content across cloud and on-premise environments,” said Muhi Majzoub, OpenText’s senior vice president, engineering.
“Right in line with our EIM strategy, these new EFM offerings in support of SAP solutions can help companies take full advantage of their information across the enterprise so that they can better service employees and ultimately drive business.”
