Abstract: Queensland Motorways operate the gateway motorway- one of Brisbane’s most important arterial roadways. Heavy traffic on the motorway has resulted in congestion and increasing journey length. In response Queensland Motorways, in conjunction with the Queensland Government and IBM Australia, embarked on a project to improve traffic flow.
