UXC Oxygen has won the contract to implement and systems integrate the Queensland Rail enterprise asset management project.
The project has already commenced and is designed to support the transformation of asset management practices across Queensland Rail and leverage the core implementation of an SAP ERP platform.
The multi-year agreement with UXC covers the initial design and blueprinting of the solution and deployment.
UXC Limited managing director, Cris Nicolli, has said reasons behind UXC Oxygen being awarded the project include its strong partnership approach, the flexibility of its SAP capabilities and the fact it is an SAP partner.
“The selection of UXC by Queensland Rail also recognises the strong leadership position being established by our UXC Oxygen business in the SAP market, particularly in Queensland, and again reinforces the overall strength of UXC in the ERP market within Australia and New Zealand,” Nicolli said.
“This is a substantial win for UXC and further establishes our credentials in winning large scale, complex projects specifically with the utilities and public sector industries. We appreciate the confidence that the executives at Queensland Rail have placed in UXC to partner and deliver this transformational program of work to the business.”
