Rimini Street passes 100 SAP customers

Rimini Street, the independent provider of enterprise software support, has announced a 64.4 per cent increase in revenue for Rimini Street support for SAP applications, for the 12 months to the end of March 2014.

Rimini Street supports SAP’s Business Suite and BusinessObjects solutions, as well as solutions from Siebel, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, and Oracle, and now has more than 100 SAP customers across 70 countries which have switched to its services.

According to Rimini Street, customers are attracted to its services not only by the cost reductions they can achieve, but the ability to drive innovation in their SAP landscapes, particularly in integrating their mission-critical SAP core transaction systems with cloud solutions.

“These savvy companies are using Rimini Street independent support to maximise the value of their SAP software maintenance dollars and reallocate IT budgets and resources to fund innovation in strategic areas of the business,” said Seth Ravin, CEO of Rimini Street.

Among Rimini Street’s success stories are international manufacturer Southco, which redirected a portion of its support budget to new Salesforce.com and SuccessFactors licences, to address its global CRM and HCM infrastructure needs in the cloud; and Color Spot Nurseries, which purchased new SAP licenses for an expanded footprint after moving its support to Rimini Street.

Rimini Street’s latest customer signing is Univar, one of the largest global chemical distributors.
