SAP SE has announced updates to its SAP Lumira software and its SAP InfiniteInsight solution in an effort to help broaden abilities in business intelligence, visualisations and advanced predictive analytics.
The update to Lumira includes the ability for users to incorporate suggested visualisations which are automatically generated from their data, create interactive stories from their desktop, server or the cloud, and present insights with customisable infographics including support for custom charts and ESRI maps.
Lumira can also now be used with the 4.1 version of the SAP BusinessObjects BI suite to bring together enterprise BI and agile visualisation capabilities.
SAP InfiniteInsight has been enhanced with updated geolocation capabilities, to create variables which can be used in predictive models, extended database support for Hadoop Hive 11 and 12 and Greenplum, and a refreshed design for an improved user experience.
