SAP partner one of NZ’s best places to work

By Anne Widjaja

SAP partner Soltius New Zealand is officially the best SAP consulting partner to work for in the land of the long white cloud, having been named in the top 10 at the JRA Best Places to Work Awards.

Soltius was a finalist in the Small-to-Medium Workplace category and was the only SAP services provider to be named in the top 10 of any of the JRA award’s categories. The JRA Award winners were determined by the results of the New Zealand-wide JRA survey, which collates confidential feedback from organisations’ employees on the practices of their employers.

Soltius director Jim Brodie is particularly proud of the result because of the company’s growth in the past few years. Now with more than 80 consultants based in the company’s Auckland and Wellington offices, Brodie said, “When you are constantly bringing a lot of new people into an organisation it can be difficult to maintain a consistent culture, but in our case it seems to have strengthened Soltius.”

“Attracting and retaining good people in the business attracts more good people so it’s a virtuous cycle,” he added.

Although Soltius has participated in the JRA Awards since its inception in 2001, this is the first time they have made it into the top 10.

“Our main motivation for participating in this survey is to find ways to make Soltius an even better place to work, so being a finalist for the award was a nice bonus and confirmation that we are on the right track,” Brodie said.
