SAP has announced updates to its predictive analytics software.
The latest version of SAP Predictive Analysis, version 1.0.11, allows
business users to use predictive foresight while making decisions
without relying on data scientists to gain intelligence, SAP stated.
It also delivers tighter integration with SAP Lumira software and has a
native predictive analytics library (PAL) for in-database processing.
“Launched last year, SAP Predictive Analysis is a transformational offering that has already been recognised as a market-leading solution in the big data predictive analytics space thanks to the real-time insight capabilities of the SAP HANA platform,” said Steve Lucas, executive vice president and general manager, Analytics and Database & Technology, SAP.
New innovations include the ability to expand predictive model execution to other SAP applications, such as SAP CRM and SAP Fraud Management; an extended algorithm set with the ability to run any R-script; faster execution against large data volumes; and, new data preparation techniques and functions for streamlined models.
