SAP Startup Focus program member SearchYourCloud has expanded its relationship with SAP with the signing of an OEM agreement, which will integrate the capabilities of SAP HANA Cloud Platform with the SearchYourCloud Server.
SearchYour Cloud (SYC) offers a patented federated search and security application for enhanced searching and sharing of data across multiple cloud and enterprise platforms.
Though searching encrypted data with an instant-access index can be complex and slow, by running SYC on the HANA Cloud Platform, more accurate and specific search results can be returned instantly, according to the company, which enables businesses to improve their productivity flows.
Users can drop and share files into the cloud store of their choice direct from devices, and search across all internal and external file storage and applications, including Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft Box, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Exchange, with document-level encryption provided for all files.

With SAP HANA Cloud Platform, we can now help customers increase their business flow through a secure, private cloud that allows them access to all of their sensitive documents from any web-connected device using one quick search,” said Simon Bain, CEO, SearchYourCloud.

The SAP Startup Focus Program is an accelerator for startups working on big data, predictive and real-time analytics, and Bain said as a member of the program, the company has been able to grow consumer demand and focus its capabilities on what its enterprise, integrator and reseller customers need to secure access to their applications and data in the cloud.
SYC’s enhanced search and security application is available through its website on www.sapstore.com, with a free version of its desktop application for individual users on Microsoft Outlook and Apple OX X Desktop, and additional plug-in services and corporate public cloud and enterprise private cloud services for SAP HANA Cloud Platform.
