SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications has become the only supported operating system for SAP HANA on IBM Power Systems.

The solutions can be tailored to meet enterprise requirements for mission-critical, real-time analytics with high reliability, availability and serviceability.

“As a long-time groundbreaking partner of IBM and SAP, SUSE is dedicated to providing the reliable, scalable and secure Linux that supports the hardware and applications enterprise customers need to be successful,” said Nils Brauckmann, president and general manager of SUSE.

“SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications is a tremendous complement to the IBM Power Systems Solution Editions for SAP HANA, offering our mutual customers top performance and high availability at an affordable cost.”

The platform runs on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Service Pack 4 for SAP Applications.
