BackOffice Associates (BOA) has been awarded the first contract in Transport for NSW’s ERP system consolidation program.

As reported by iTnews, the agency has chosen to consolidate its existing systems onto SAP, in the multi-year program of work.

BOA has been awarded a three-year, $12.8 million contract to migrate the data located in Transport’s current ERP systems to the new SAP system.

The project, which is expected to involve a number of vendors over the coming years, was given $150 million in funding between 2012 and 2016  in the NSW State Government’s 2012 budget.

This week BOA, information governance and data migration specialist solution provider, also announced it has entered a global reseller agreement with SAP.

SAP will resell two BackOffice solutions to help customers accelerate data migration and accelerate the governance of human resources data and other custom data domains.

The solutions will be resold as SAP Data Services Migration Accelerator application by BackOffice Associates, and the SAP Information Steward Accelerator applications by BackOffice Associates, custom edition and human capital management edition.

“We are thrilled to extend our relationship with SAP with this global reseller agreement to help enrich the quality of data across an enterprise,” said David Booth, president and CEO of BackOffice Associates.

“As many industry analysts consider the data quality market among the fastest-growing areas, companies are proactively demanding data quality solutions to improve operational efficiency and leverage the knowledge gained for further innovation.”
