Unisys UK is the latest vendor to join the SAP PartnerEdge program as an SAP services partner.
The program will give Unisys access to resources and services from SAP so it can better serve public sector clients, including the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), where the company supports applications that contribute to the day-to-day policing of London.
Over the past 24 months Unisys has delivered more than 12,000 days of SAP solution-related work to the MPS, the company said in a statement.
“The secure nature of the work and the information being handled on behalf of the MPS demands that all on our team have achieved a minimum of Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) clearance. This level of clearance is a testament to our work with the MPS and to the dedication of our team and our close collaboration with SAP,” said Colin Penn, UK ITO service delivery director, Unisys.
Unisys said it plans to roll out training in SAP solutions to its team and continue to work closely with SAP on new business initiatives.
The company will continue to provide support to the public sector and other sectors that have a requirement for security-cleared, UK-based expertise in SAP solutions.
