UXC Oxygen has acquired Australian-based SAP partner Clarity Consulting Group Australia to extend its customer base and strengthen its position in the Australian market.
UXC Oxygen CEO Stuart Dickinson said building its customer base is a fundamental part of the company’s strategy to complement its SAP consulting business with recurring revenue activities in the areas of software maintenance and sales.
“The Clarity acquisition adds great talent to our business in the form of high quality SAP-trained consulting and solution support staff. The addition of Clarity customers is highly complementary to our existing base and will provide us with an increase in software support revenue,” Dickinson said.
“As a result of this acquisition we are securing a group of multi-skilled SAP resources that will enable us to further enhance the services and solutions we offer to our customers.”
Clarity was founded by directors Dennis Michael and Julian Belotti in 1999, and achieved SAP Services Partner, SAP Channel Partner and Sybase Partner status.
Michael said UXC Oxygen is the ideal buyer of the business.
“UXC Oxygen is perfectly position to absorb all our consulting staff and customers. It will provide our staff with excellent professional development opportunities and give our customers an improved delivery capability from a single supplier able to meet all their SAP needs,” Michael said.
UXC Oxygen has recently established an Emerging Solutions practice to expand its skills and market presence in the user experience and mobility space.
UXC Oxygen anticipates greater demand for the UX and mobility capabilities provide by the Fiori productivity application, following SAP’s announcement that it is included as part of the standard SAP licence.
Last year’s acquisition of ecommerce practice White Labelled has given UXC Oxygen access to a team of HTML5 and JavaScript developers proficient in SAP UI5 and with strong UX design skills, enabling it to deliver a new generation of UX designs for SAP-focused solutions.
The last six months has seen UXC Oxygen undertake a number of UX projects aimed at expanding the reach of the SAP system to users in the field, replacing paper-based and manual processes.
