SAP-certified cloud and hosting provider, Wharfedale Technologies (WFT Cloud), has launched a 12-month career program to educate students and professionals in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions.
The WFT Cloud Infrastructure and Services program is designed to provide students and IT professionals with the skills and knowledge to become cloud infrastructure architects or infrastructure management professionals.
The course will cover the importance and benefits of cloud computing and the need for rapid adoption in response to emerging business needs, as well as every component of infrastructure service and management, including OS, DB, storage, networking and visualisation of the entire cloud stack.
WFT has also recently announced the creation of a Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) initiative for SAP applications.
The company said the SDDC concept will enable customers to benefit from higher level of automation for their SAP landscapes, including SAP and third-party applications.
Ganesh Radhakrishnan, CEO of WFT Cloud, said that SAP customers will gain improved agility and reduced operational costs, particularly as WFT works closely with vendors to achieve better ROI with SDDC for SAP.
