Enterprise cloud-based software provider, Workiva, has signed an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with SAP to provide a first-party integration of its flagship product Wdesk using the SAP Cloud Platform Integration service.

Wdesk is a leading enterprise cloud platform for data collaboration, reporting, and compliance. The bundled solution with SAP will enable organisations to integrate SAP data with Wdesk, delivering strong linking, auditability, and control features.

Wdesk enables narrative to be linked to data across documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports, maintaining data transparency and consistency to help organisations reduce risk, increase productivity, and use real-time data to gain valuable insights that improve their business decisions. Wdesk, which can be up and running within days, enables employees to log in, using multiple devices from anywhere, maximising flexibility while maintaining tight control of business data.

Once organisations integrate their SAP data into the Wdesk platform, they will be able to take advantage of Wdesk’s capabilities, including synchronised data, dynamic commentary, controlled collaboration, granular permissions, and clear audit trails.

“Today’s announcement demonstrates that Workiva and SAP are committed to providing customers with a rich integration experience,” said Matt Rizai, chairman and CEO, Workiva. “Through our OEM partnership, we will help customers all over the world improve the value of their business data.”

“SAP customers across every industry are looking to leverage cloud technology to improve data collaboration, reduce costs, and gain greater business insights,” said Diane Fanelli, senior vice president, Platform Channels, SAP. “Our partnership with Workiva will help our customers improve data integrity and drive better business performance.”
