Everjoy Consulting took out the honours in the 2013 SAP Ecosystem Foundation Regatta for Redkite.
Sailing on the America’s Cup class yacht, Spirit, Everjoy, also the major sponsor for the event, edged out Plaut IT on Kookaburra by just 1 minute 38 second, with Datacom on The Philosopher’s Club close behind. Less than four minutes separated first and third place, and less than 18 minutes separated the whole fleet.
The event raised $50,000 for Redkite, which supports families of children and young people during their cancer journey.
“The team at Redkite work tirelessly to provide vital services to so many families in need, at a time when all can be overwhelming, Redkite comes in to make their lives as easy as possible in light of the circumstances,” says Adrian Everett, director, Everjoy Consulting and chairman, SAP Ecosystem Foundation.
“With no government funding, we recognise the tireless work of all at Redkite and it is our pleasure to be involved with such a dedicated charity.”
