10seconds Software has released free versions of its Express Suite family of products, providing ‘SAP Approvals from Anywhere’ to the SAP marketplace.
Offered to SAP users, the free solutions will contain five user licenses with free setup and support.
“We are breaking away from the traditional SAP vendor business model and making these solutions irresistible to busy managers looking to put mundane, repetitive computer tasks behind them,” said Greg Donaldson, managing director, 10seconds Software.
These solutions – ExpressSC, ExpressRelease, ExpressServiceEntry, ExpressPO and ExpressPR – allow management teams to be notified of, and securely approve SAP Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Service Entries and Blocked Invoices easily from a very wide variety of platforms, including browsers, iPad, Blackberry, iPhone, Windows SmartPhone and Playbook, and using an intuitive interface.
“Saving companies time and money by giving managers location and
platform independent visibility and control is what’s driving mobility
adoption in business,” said Donaldson.
Importantly, all 10Seconds Software solutions are ‘transport free’ which means no changes are made to the SAP system – instead they facilitate the communication process to reduce, or even eliminate, blocks in company processes.
“SAP customers have been burnt by difficult contracts and lengthy negotiations. Mobility is a new era focused on enhancing and streamlining the systems already in place – it doesn’t need the buying complexity of an ERP system,” said Donaldson.
According to the company, many of their prospective clients are facing lengthy delays and internal difficulties getting approval to move forward with solutions around SAP.
“There’s a large amount of inertia involved in any business process changes associated with SAP systems. Teams simply aren’t use to the idea that they can implement cost effective, low risk productivity solutions in days. Our customers take an average of 6-9 months to make a decision in the mobility space. We decided rather than offering free time based trials, which never seemed to be long enough, we’d offer a free version with a limited number of users and let them take as long as they like,” said Jack Cornford, sales director, 10seconds Software.
