SAP and IT security company Turnkey Consulting appointed former Cura Software Solutions MD Mark Bookatz as director in Australia, to develop the company’s risk management practice in Australia.
In his role at Cura, Bookatz was responsible for providing GRC solutions covering enterprise risk management, compliance, internal audit, project risk management and occupational health and safety, for customers including BHP Billiton, National Australia Bank, Virgin Australia and Westfield. Previously Bookatz was a principal consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Turnkey currently offers an SAP-qualified risk management Rapid Deployment Solution (RDS) which can be implemented in four weeks, and by adding Bookatz to the team, Turnkey hopes to meet all their customers’ SAP GRC needs.
Ed Davis, director at Turnkey Consulting Australia, said: “Customers are increasingly looking to widen the scope of their GRC solutions with the focus being end-to-end enterprise systems. Undertaking this with one consultancy is the most effective method to achieve seamless integration, and adding Mark’s expertise to our team means that Turnkey can now allow them to achieve this.”
“Risk management is only truly effective if it is an integral part of the overall business processes,” said Bookatz. “This has led to the recognition that business systems must converge to meet this need and the industry is starting to address the challenge. Turnkey Consulting is well-recognised as a specialist provider of GRC services and its increased focus on risk management reinforces its position as a global leader in implementing the complete GRC suite.”
