Plaut Australia has appointed Sebastian Moore as its chief executive officer, following the departure of Mark Alder, who left the role earlier this month.
According to David Prior, Plaut chairman, Moore was the natural choice for the position as the “established successor” to Alder.
“Sebastian has consistently demonstrated a successful track record in strategic planning, solution sales and team leadership and is the established successor for the CEO role,” Prior said.
Moore has previously held senior positions with Cisco, RSA Security and Hewlett Packard before joining Plaut. His career with Plaut began in 2010, as the business manager of Plaut’s northern region market.
Moore also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree, an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and is an Australian Institute of Company Directors graduate.
Moore said that he is proud of Plaut’s “project win rate” and will continue to build upon the company’s strong branding in his new role.
“I am looking forward to continuing to work with the Plaut team to drive continued success for our customers and staff,” Moore said.
