SAP partner Plaut IT Australia’s national service delivery manager, Sehida Frawley, is one of only 28 women in the Asia Pacific region to be selected to join the ‘Women on Boards: Next Generation of Female Corporate Leaders’ program.
The Next Generation program focuses on empowering female leaders and equipping them with the skills to achieve an executive or ‘C Suite’ role. It also teaches women how they can make an impact on an organisation once they’ve secured a seat at the board table.
Frawley has had over 14 years’ experience with SAP, as a user and as a consultant. Prior to joining Plaut, she worked in the areas of program and project management, and business process design and implementation.
Frawley’s long-spanning career in IT has involved advising for large government organisations such as AirServices Australia, the Department of Health and Ageing, Centrelink, the Australian Taxation Office, the Department of Defence, and Health Services Australia (now a Division of Medibank Private).
Plaut IT CEO, Mark Alder, praised Frawley for being selected for the exclusive program.
“Sehida’s selection is testament to her incredibly high calibre of expertise, experience and leadership skills,” Alder said.
Alder also commented that as a key member of the Plaut leadership team, her place on the program would be “an incredible opportunity for Sehida to increase her visibility within the IT sector and beyond”.
Frawley is “honoured and excited” by the opportunity to participate in the program, which she believes will be “a fantastic forum to further my skills, increase my profile in the industry and ultimately advance my career”.
Frawley will join women from around Australia and Japan when the program commences in March 2012.
